Louisiana High School Basketball - Destrehan knocks off Booker T. Washington
November 24, 2025: Destrehan, LA 70047 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Destrehan Wildcats basketball team scored a good 72-60 win over the Booker T. Washington Lions.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, McDonogh 35 thwarted St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 70-56, in a non-league match.
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy for a non-league match on Monday, December 1. Booker T. Washington will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-39 non-league loss to Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
