In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Independence Patriots basketball team scored a big 79-56 triumph over the Shadow Ridge Stallions.

The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Sunrise Mountain overwhelmed Dobson (Mesa, AZ), 70-46, in a non-league match.

The Stallions now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobson for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. Shadow Ridge will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 69-26 league loss to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
