November 24, 2025: Salem, AR 72576 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) and the visiting Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR), observed Salem's basketball team overwhelm Cedar Ridge by a margin of 62-27.
The Greyhounds (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Panthers enter the 3A Region 2 match with a 2-5 record.
The Timberwolves now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 2. Cedar Ridge will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 62-44 non-league win over Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-0.
