The Porter Ridge Pirates basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting South Iredell Vikings to 16 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 25. Porter Ridge will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 61-27 non-league loss to Cary Academy (Cary, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, South Iredell falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Friday, November 28. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 2-0. North Mecklenburg won 79-49 in their recent non-league game against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
