Georgia High School Basketball - Locust Grove overwhelms Banneker
November 24, 2025: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Banneker Trojans to 31 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league game on Monday, November 24. Locust Grove will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 67-15 league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Banneker falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) to confront the War Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 1. The War Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-0.
