November 25, 2022: Vernon Hills, IL 60061 Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bowen Boilermakers (Chicago, IL), 53-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Vernon Hills upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Lakes lost 73-49 in their recent non-league bout against Carmel (Mundelein, IL)
Next up, the Boilermakers play the Amundsen Vikings (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Bowen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 39-28 non-league win over Northridge (Niles, IL).
