Eastern Eagles (Reedsville, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), 62-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH) to play the Buckeyes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Buckeyes come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Raiders play the Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
