The Northeastern Clinton Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Potsdam Sandstoners to 55 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Massena for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 26. Northeastern Clinton will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 70-40 non-league win over Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

The Sandstoners (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
