Illinois High School Basketball - St. Paul tops Washington
November 25, 2022: Washington, IL 61571 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), saw St. Paul's basketball squad knock off Washington by a count of 56-43.
With the victory, St. Paul upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Swordsmen travel to Blytheville (Blytheville, AR) to play the Chickasaws in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 26. The Chickasaws come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Blytheville won 69-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Urbana (Urbana, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Coral Glades Jaguars (Coral Springs, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 26. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 54-53 non-league win over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA).
