Minnesota High School Basketball - Aquinas knocked off by Providence Academy

November 25, 2022: Plymouth, MN 55446

The Providence Academy Lions basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Aquinas Blugolds to 72 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Garrigan for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 26. Providence Academy will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 64-41 non-league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-1.

The Blugolds (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Fire enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Holy Family Catholic was defeated by Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 77-52, in a non-league contest.
