Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Gorman upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Shadow Ridge lost 68-45 in their recent non-league bout against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Vaqueros play the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Fernley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 42-20 non-league win over Durango (Las Vegas, NV).
