Illinois High School Basketball - Stagg fells Metea Valley

November 25, 2022: Aurora, IL 60502

Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 42-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stagg upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Chargers host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to clash with the Astros in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Shepard won 48-34 in their recent non-league bout against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Metea Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 50-46 non-league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
