November 25, 2023: Quitman, AR 72131 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) and the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), saw Bay's basketball squad overcome Quitman by a tally of 64-45.
With the victory, Bay improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Buffalo Island Central lost 65-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Quitman will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 68-37 non-league loss to Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR).
