Mississippi High School Basketball - Booneville nips Mountain Brook
November 25, 2023: Booneville, MS 38829 Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL), 43-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Booneville upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Columbus (Columbus, MS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Columbus won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Power Center Academy (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Spartans play the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Mountain Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.
