November 25, 2023: Bee Branch, AR 72013 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Brinkley Tigers basketball team scored a tight 78-72 triumph over the South Side Hornet.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 28. Brinkley will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR).
With the defeat, South Side moves to 7-4 on the year. The Hornet travel to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to meet the Warhawks in a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, November 28. The Warhawks enter the match with a record of 10-2. Mt. Vernon-Enola won 57-56 in their recent league match against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)
