November 25, 2023: Montebello, CA 90640 The Montebello Oilers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Contreras Cobras to 32 in the Oilers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Oilers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aliso Niguel for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27. Montebello will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
The Cobras (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA). The Sheiks come into the Central contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hollywood was defeated by Bernstein (Hollywood, CA), 77-27, in a league contest.
