Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln crushes Danville
November 25, 2023: Lincoln, IL 62656 Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), 61-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Railsplitters travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to play the Cyclones in a Central State Eight bout on Saturday, December 2. The Cyclones come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL)
Next up, the Vikings play the Ogden International (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Danville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL).
