Georgia High School Basketball - Decatur fells Gainesville
November 25, 2023: Decatur, GA 30030 Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), 57-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Decatur upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Peachtree Ridge lost 80-71 in their recent non-league bout against Grayson (Loganville, GA)
Next up, the Red Elephants play the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 43-41 non-league loss to Paideia (Atlanta, GA).
