Wisconsin High School Basketball - Slinger crushes Delavan-Darien
November 25, 2023: Delavan, WI 53115 Slinger Owls (Slinger, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Delavan-Darien Comets (Delavan, WI), 87-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Slinger upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Owls travel to Port Washington (Port Washington, WI) to play the Pirates in a North Shore bout on Thursday, November 30. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Comets play the Whitewater Whippets (Whitewater, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Delavan-Darien will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Whippets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 87-47 non-league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI).
