The Gaston Christian Eagles basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Rocky River Ravens to 64 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina contest on Tuesday, November 28. Gaston Christian will meet a Knights team coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.

The Ravens (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, North Mecklenburg ran past Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 97-49, in a non-league contest.
