The Triad Knights (Troy, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL), 50-49 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mt. Vernon got by Granite City (Granite City, IL), 54-43, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league test on Saturday, November 25. Granite City will encounter a Senators squad coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Triad (Troy, IL). The Senators record now stands at 0-1.
