Illinois High School Basketball - Maine East crushes Ridgewood
November 25, 2023: Norridge, IL 60706 Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), 64-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Maine East upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Blue Demons travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to play the Giants in a Central Suburban - North bout on Friday, December 1. The Giants go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Highland Park lost 43-39 in their recent non-league bout against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL)
Next up, the Rebels play the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Ridgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Grenadiers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 76-24 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
