November 25, 2023: Orange, TX 77631 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) and the host West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX), saw Orangefield's basketball squad overcome West Orange-Stark by a tally of 68-48.
With the victory, Orangefield improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a TAPPS 5A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Kelly Catholic lost 68-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Evadale (Evadale, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 27. West Orange-Stark will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 58-48 non-league win over Northland Christian (Houston, TX).
