California High School Basketball - Ceres holds off Orestimba
November 25, 2023: Newman, CA 95360 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA) and the host Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA), saw Ceres's basketball squad hold off Orestimba by a tally of 43-36.
With the victory, Ceres improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Merced (Merced, CA) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Merced won 55-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Pitman (Turlock, CA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Orestimba will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
