California High School Basketball - Portola nips Norco
November 25, 2023: Norco, CA 92860 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) and the host Norco Cougars (Norco, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad hold off Norco by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Portola improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 27. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Brea Olinda lost 50-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Norco will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
