Illinois High School Basketball - Annawan trounces Riverdale
November 25, 2023: Annawan, IL 61234 The Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 58-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese go into the Lincoln Trail test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Wethersfield was trounced by Elmwood (Elmwood, IL), 50-30, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Monmouth-Roseville for a Three Rivers - West test on Monday, November 27. Riverdale will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.
