November 25, 2023: Richmond, IL 60071 The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) basketball knocked off the host Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL), 40-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Hiawatha notched a victory over Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL), 29-26, in a non-league test.
The Rockets now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Johnsburg for a Kishwaukee River test on Tuesday, November 28. Richmond-Burton will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 61-36 non-league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-3.
