Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Little Giants travel to Macomb (Macomb, IL) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Macomb lost 40-37 in their recent non-league match against Mercer County (Aledo, IL)

With the defeat, Taft moves to 3-4 on the year. The Eagles host Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, November 27. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-2. Regina Dominican won 43-37 in their recent non-league match against Latin (Chicago, IL)
