November 25, 2023: Fairfield, IL 62837 The Fairfield Mules basketball team (Fairfield, IL), was overwhelmed 66-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL)
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okaw Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27. St. Anthony will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 40-29 non-league win over Christ Our Rock Lutheran (Centralia, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-6.
The Mules (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL). The Golden Aces enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Mt. Carmel was routed by Robinson (Robinson, IL), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
