The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) basketball nipped the host Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD), 54-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD). The go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Gael now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Concordia Prep for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Goretti will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 56-38 non-league loss to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.
