Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 58-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jackson upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Rams play the Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
