Georgia High School Basketball - Walnut Grove knocked off by Alcovy
November 25, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors to 42 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a contest on Saturday, December 2.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North Oconee ran past Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 54-35, in a non-league contest.
