November 25, 2024: Natchez, MS 39120 The St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS) basketball were winner over the host Cathedral Green Wave (Natchez, MS), 52-36 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville Christian for a MAIS 4A District 2 bout on Tuesday, December 3. St. Joseph will play a Saints team coming off a 78-55 non-league loss to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Saints record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Cathedral falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Green wave host West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-5. West Lincoln lost 85-44 in their recent non-league bout against Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS)
