November 25, 2024: Maurice, LA 70555 The North Vermilion Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Mamou Demons to 23 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Kinder for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. North Vermilion will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 50-26 non-league win over Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Mamou falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Rayne (Rayne, LA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 2-0. Rayne won 54-35 in their recent non-league game against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA)
