The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes defeated the visiting Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders basketball team by a tally of 62-53 in Tuesday's non-league game.

The Hurricanes now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Creek for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. Fort Bend Hightower will play a Wildcats team coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Ball (Galveston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Strake Jesuit falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Fighting crusaders travel to Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Saturday, November 29. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 7-2. Iowa Colony won 71-45 in their recent non-league test against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX)
