Texas High School Basketball - Wills Point can't hold off Grand Saline

Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX), 53-51 in a non-league contest.

The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksville (Clarksville, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Clarksville nipped Dodd City (Dodd City, TX), 50-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Life Oak Cliff Lions (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 2. Wills Point will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Samuell (Dallas, TX).
