November 25, 2025: Alpine, CA 91901 Liberty Charter Lions (Alpine, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA), 57-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Liberty Charter upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA) to face the Stingrays in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 3. The Stingrays enter the match with a record of 1-0. Coastal Academy won 60-27 in their recent non-league match against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA)
The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escondido Adventist Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Horizon Prep will face a Hawks squad coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to San Diego Academy (National City, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
