The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) and the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), observed Sunrise Mountain's basketball team overwhelm Independence by a score of 74-47.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Mountain Ridge walloped Browne (Phoenix, AZ), 86-73, in a non-league battle.
