November 25, 2025: Lubbock, TX 79413 The Monterey Plainsmen basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Wylie Bulldogs to 72 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Plainsmen now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. Monterey will confront a Eagles team coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Wylie falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 2. The Bobcats enter the outing with a record of 6-0. San Angelo Central won 72-48 in their recent non-league outing against Abilene (Abilene, TX)
