Indiana High School Basketball - Randolph Southern thwarts Union
November 25, 2025: Lynn, IN 47355 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN) and the visiting Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), witnessed Randolph Southern's basketball squad prevail over Union by a count of 74-54.
With the victory, Randolph Southern advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to meet the Golden Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, November 29. The Golden Falcons enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Winchester Community lost 57-46 in their recent non-league battle against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN)
The Rockets now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2. Union will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 56-43 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Indianapolis, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

Randolph Southern went on a 7-0 run when up 12-8 to provide separation.
Second Quarter
Close fought quarter.
Third Quarter
Union came out of the halftime gaining ground quickly. Randolph Southern held them off with a short 5-0 run at the close of the quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Two key Union players were injured on the same play with the score 45-42 shortly after the quarter began. Lavon Schwartz went down with leg cramps and Zyler Ogden sprained an ankle on a post move. Randolph Southern was 13-16 in the quarter with the two key players missing from Union's line-up.
