Texas High School Basketball - MacArthur fells Johnson

November 25, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78217

The MacArthur Brahmas basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Johnson Jaguars to 51 in the Brahmas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Brahmas now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to South San Antonio for a 5A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, December 2. MacArthur will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 68-38 non-league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Johnson falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Austin (Austin, TX) to confront the Maroons in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. The Maroons go into the game with a record of 7-3. Austin won 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX)
