Utah High School Basketball - Lehi triumphant over Payson
November 25, 2025: Lehi, UT 84043 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) and the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), observed Lehi's basketball team overwhelm Payson by a margin of 64-22.
The Pioneers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Timpview (Provo, UT). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bountiful for a non-league match on Thursday, December 4.

Game Summary: This game was no contest from the beginning. Lehi made 2 three-point shots in the first quarter and kept them dropping throughout the game. Sara Rojas knocked down 4 and Clair Thatcher added 3. The Pioneers made a total of 14 three pointer's and came away with a 64 to 22 win. As has been the case this year, the Lehi defense made it very hard for Payson to score holding them to single digit points in every quarter.
