Alabama High School Basketball - Plainview nips Springville
November 26, 2014: Rainsville, AL 35986 Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springville Tigers (Springville, AL), 47-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bears travel to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL) to play the Bison in a 3A Area 14 bout on Tuesday, December 2. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 3-0. North Sand Mountain won 82-53 in their recent non-league bout against Ider (Ider, AL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Jordan Blue Devils (Morris, AL) in a 5A Area 11 bout, on Tuesday, December 2. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Hanceville (Hanceville, AL).
