November 26, 2021: Elgin, IL 60120 The Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) basketball crushed the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 79-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cogs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Westminster Christian walloped Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL), 54-20, in a non-league test.
The Maroons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy-Southwest for a non-league test on Saturday, November 27. Elgin will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.
