Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) and the visiting Chino Cowboys (Chino, CA), saw Lakewood's basketball squad knock off Chino by a count of 54-42.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 27. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Los Osos won 52-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 27. Chino will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
