Illinois High School Basketball - Austin College and Career Academy knocked off by Proviso West
November 26, 2022: Hillside, IL 60162 The Proviso West Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Austin College and Career Academy Tigers to 49 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenbard West for a West Suburban - Silver contest on Friday, December 2. Proviso West will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-1.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Chicago Academy ran past Collins (Chicago, IL), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
