Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel overwhelms Grant Community
November 26, 2022: Fox Lake, IL 60020 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) and the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), saw Carmel's basketball squad wallop Grant Community by a tally of 64-36.
With the victory, Carmel improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Corsairs travel to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to play the Spartans in a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Marian Catholic lost 57-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Grant Community will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL).
