California High School Basketball - Peninsula fells Independence

November 26, 2022: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274

Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), 59-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peninsula upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to South East (South Gate, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-1. South East won 90-50 in their recent non-league bout against Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 54-46 non-league win over Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA).
