Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) and the host Northridge Knights (Niles, IL), saw Wheeling's basketball squad hold off Northridge by a count of 39-35.

With the victory, Wheeling upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to play the Grenadiers in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Friday, December 2. The Grenadiers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
