November 26, 2022: Greenfield, IA 50849 The Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) basketball crushed the host Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 67-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Williamsburg was trounced by Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA), 59-26, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Creston for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Nodaway Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-29 non-league loss to Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
